The student will learn step by step the development of a Comic / Manga. You will analyze currently published works and generate a script from creative brainstorming.

You will know the basics of illustration: anatomy, light and shadow, color theory and poses.

You will develop a Storyboard which will develop the inking, patterns and color for your final product.

The student will learn the production and development of a Book. You will have the opportunity to select a work to your liking (free of copyright or own). You will work on a manuscript within Adobe Indesign software.

You will develop techniques and methods for creating eye-catching covers and type spots suitable for generating proofs.

At the end of the course the student will present his project in physical form.

Traditional Illustration Techniques

Course graduate profile

The student will learn the various traditional illustration techniques and their substrates for the creation of their artistic works.

They will use colored pencil, marker, fountain pens, watercolor, acrylics, and mixed media. This course is recommended for people who would like to learn illustration to become a tattoo artist.

The course includes all the material with the exception of the colored pencils (It is suggested to acquire professional colors of 72 pcs.)
